Thanks for your continued tolerance of fillers and all your kind words re my back injury and all your amazing comments on my photos
We had a fabulous campsite at Zion with birds singing their hearts out in a dead tree and great views
Oh Jane this is just fantastic! And now that i have some time i can go back and view some of your pic's! As i love them all!! All of the time!! Zion...hmmm i wanted to stop in there when we were in Co. and Utah...but we only made it to the Arches National Park.! Still there was so much to see there and I see that Peter made a stop there also when he was in the States!! Just the Most Beautiful Part of Our Country !! Although i got so surprised by Idaho also!! I will some day make it to Wyoming i hope that and the DeKota's are the only other two states i have not been in!! I hope you are healing up well with your back? Did you end up having to have surgery or are you doing therapy...i question this as i have a bad back problem also and have been doing extensive massage therapy and it sure has helped! Of course it does not help if a nerve is pinched or damaged by the bone...but it can do good if the nerve is pinched by a muscle! :) FAV!
@ellimae Yes, gorgeous it is. I feel so lucky to have otten to go back. Re my back...no surgery. I have osteorosis but the X-ray didn't show a compression fracture. Chiropractor says the are often microscopic breaks, so I'm guessing that is what is up. Lots of pain, can't lift more than about a pound without hurting. No comfortable position. I haven't taken pain killers since the early 80s for a kidney stone but I've been taking them. For the first time since last Friday, I think I'm feeling a bit better this afternoon. I'm hopeful at least.
DEJA VU.... this shot brings back such memories.... certainly a FAV. Sorry to hear your back is giving you grief. Please, please , please don't rush into any type of back operation. Back surgery has become a big money making racket in the US. It is totally a last resort. I have seen epidural injections do wonders for individuals. After all else else fails sometimes back surgery should be considered, or it should be considered if there is narrowing of the spinal canal. I just had dinner the other night with my friend who is a neurosurgeon who does nothing but back surgery.
