Grebe Reflected Under the Pier

Took a trip down to Bay Street and found a bunch of grebes. I liked them particularly in the dark under the pier.

How did you do this? You've got such great details in the bird's face and feathers despite what was clearly a really dark area. And, you didn't overexpose the whites. Wow -- fav for pulling off such a tricky shot re lighting.
