It was a treat to see the sunset colors make their way through the fog.
I have a question re yesterday's twilight surf shot. I was surprised with the lukewarm response it got. I loved the shot. I'm wondering if it was too dark on the website. I'd appreciate people's thoughts on that if you have time.

Hi Jane - this is beautiful with that tiny spot shining out. I hadn't seen the image you mentioned but after having a look my personal answer to your question would be that it is quite dark and all very blue on the screen. It somehow seems to subdue the impact of the exploding water. Having said that though the image appears to change its contrast quite markedly when the screen is tilted a little back or a little forward. The higher contrast seemed to accentuate the impact of the wave. So I think you might be right when you consider it's on-screen appearance. :)
