Baby Hummingbird

Best on black. When Black Pearl and I were on a hike, she found this baby who must have fallen out of its nest. Luckily Pearl has a gentle mouth because she had it in her mouth before I knew what it was. My friend fed it over night with a eye dropper and is taking it to hummingbird rescue center today. It was so tiny and adorable.

@robz it is at the best possible place...a rehab center for hummingbirds. One wing is slightly damaged and they think it may heal. If so, when it’s ready to release, they will have us take it back to where we found it. Interesting! I’ll keep my 365 friends posted as I hear
