This was done with the trick I learned from @taffy...taking a picture of a blurred background with appropriate colors and printing it out. Then I put it on some foam core board and attached it to a pole in the ground behind the photo I wanted to take. Then I focus stacked the shots of the Lucifer crocosmia. I like how it turned out.
