This is at my office. It has been transplanted several times to try to give it the environment it wants. It finally seems happy. It reminds me of a parental blunder years ago when we were traveling in our old van with our 5 little kids and found ourselves parked by an artichoke field and actually stole some! Our kids have never let us forget.
Brilliant - I grew one last year but couldn't work out when to harvest it! Tsk on the stealing - we stayed at a finch in Spain once and there was a vineyard next door. We 'borrowed' some grapes and they were so amazing that we had to 'borrow' some more - and then the gardener came and brought us some and said, 'Don't tell the owner, I've sneaked them for you, they're for wine.' We had to make frantic faces at my daughter as we pretended it was the first time we'd tasted them.
