Dropping in to Death Valley

Obviously Death Valley really caught my attention. I know this is too dark in the foreground but I love the feeling of the road leading into the sunlight and color. I need to go back to Death Valley and spend a bunch of time there with my camera. Please enlarge if you have time

Very nice shot. I'm not sure what you're using for post production, but if you're using any kind of newer PhotoShop, it has some exposure HDR type solutions. This shot is perfect for HDR.

I took the large image and ran it through Photomatix. Turned out rather nicely.

@webfoot I forget that I can do hdr with one photo. thanks for the reminder. I'll try it
