I know this is a terrible shot...through a window and through the deck fence but I wanted to give you a sense of what it was to see 16 Roosevelt elk in our backyard this morning. We were so happy to see them given that we haven't seen the elk hurd for months and have seen two shot by hunters on the horse trail above our house.
