Ouch! Prickery Seat

Firstly, I was ecstatic to see my little swallow with feather at #2 spot this morning. Wow! Thanks so much. I thought this little white crowned sparrow was pretty tough sitting on the thorny branch.

How do they manage to place those feet in just the right places to avoid those thorns - I've noticed that with the barbed wire fences, too. Wonderful focusing on this sparrow.
