Seeing the details by joansmor

Seeing the details

@rachelwithey My challenge for you is to look back at one of the photos you took in the first three months of posting on 365 and retake it, or something like it, using all your new skills, knowledge, equipment, software etc. So I am freaked out looking at what I posted back then but having fun trying to prove to myself I am better now. Back than I didn't know how to capture the little details and make them interesting. This is my improved picture of this scene http://365project.org/joansmor/extras/2014-02-07 Hope I am catching your interest.
@rachelwithey tried again.

Wow -- what a difference in the two images. The earlier one seems more documentary in focus, and this is so artistic.

Love the details in this Joan, great close up. It's interesting how we learn to look at things differently I think isn't it?

Lots of textures in this close-up, and the colors in the lamp's glass is definitely eye-catching. Nicely done.
