I took this as I lay in bed this morning commenting on 365. I could have taken it last night so the dates would have matched up. I drove up here in the rain and stopped to have lunch with @olivetreeann. I was exhausted when I got here and lay on the bed. Eventually, I took a shower and got ready to sleep. I snacked for a bit but eventually couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I will be home today and see my baby. Hopefully, she won't be too upset with me. Then you will have a steady diet of vacation pictures mixed in with a few new Maine pictures. I am so glad I don't have to work tomorrow.
I'm so glad you had a good trip and I really enjoyed our quick bite together for lunch. I wasn't hungry until 8 pm!! As fun and exciting as a vacation is, sometimes getting home is the best part. We head out to see the grands on Saturday. It's going to be a LONG drive! Looking forward to the vacay pics!
@olivetreeann I just had a boiled egg and crackers plus that banana I needed to eat before it went overripe. Yesterday I stopped at a place in Plaistow and had a tuna garden salad on my last leg. Last night I was so glad to have my normal supper options. And the hotel did breakfast at 6:30 so I had another free breakfast before I hit the road. You remember I complained about the breakfasts starting at 8 which was way too late for me if I was hitting the road. I so loved my lunch with you it broke the stress in the travel up from MD. The Taconic Highway was so beautiful in the fog yesterday morning. And so lite in traffic and best of all not one deer jumped out in front of me though I saw one right on the side of the road.
