I took these horses the other day when I was killing some time waiting for my car appointment. The car is fixed. The bill is paid. OUCH Now I have decided to take my computer which has issues to my IT guy in the Portland area. Someone called and said they were from Dell but the more I talked the more I thought not Dell. But not before I let them into my computer. So I am going to have this guy see if we can check my computer for male ware and see if he can figure out what is wrong. I would rather pay him than keep dealing with the slow moving Dell Support. I thought I had a problem with the computer I am currently using. I couldn't get on to my work computer turns out the work computer was off. So now I can get on and get a few more hours this week. This morning I wanted to crawl into a corner and cry now I am feeling good. Hope things keep moving in the right direction.
Nice winter scene -- I do empathise with you over dealing with pc, etc I think you are wise to go to your own IT guy rather than dealing with these large companies . I am sure you will get more satisfaction than just been a number to the larger company . Hope all will sort your self for you !

@vignouse Well, that is what Dell does they call into your computer to fix it. But they do it by appointment and this wasn't an appointment. I was just so stressed out over my car, my health (another blood clot last week, and my computer. That is when I become vulnerable. But taking it to my good friend today. If he can't fix it he will tell me how to work with Dell.
It seems like it was ages ago, oh wait it was! when I got my laptop. In the process of setting it up a man emailed saying he was from HP. Like you after talking a while and letting him poke around in my computer I figured out he really wasn't from HP proper but had some sort of sub-contracting relationship with them. Needless to say I had to reset all my passwords and do a ton of other things to block him from getting in there again. But no problems since then- live and learn right? These horses are very photogenic- nice shot!
