HMS Endeavour was a British navy research ship in the 1770s. Captain James Cook sailed it around the would to Tahiti to observe and record the transit of Venus across the sun in 1769.
He also explored and mapped the east coast of Australia from Sydney to the northern most tip.
Sort of a landscape!!!

Hi Issi. Most people put forward that there is only one “rope” on the ship. The bell rope which is used to ring the ship’s bell. All the rest are lines, halyards, sheets etc.
Fav. I am deeply in love with these tall ships. I like your frontal capture of this beauty and it looks so great in b&w. At the moment I am gathering information on the net to try and make a model of one of these with from the wood of fruit crates.
Thanks Phil.
Thanks for the much appreciated comments. I walked from end to end and tried lots of different angles to get as much rigging into the shot as possible.
Thanks. There were tourist on board but I was on my way to something else.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Maybe you could do some photos of the construction process. A sort of time line.
Thanks for commenting. Next visit I’ll have to go on board.
Thanks. As I said next time I’ll go on board.
