Wow, it's rather unwelcoming. I had a walk on the snow yesterday - it was -13°C. Nice, but the film camera I brought got frozen so I think all the shots will need to be thrown away.
@ingajohansson Yes, and it is starting to send out a shoot for new blooms. I am amazed that they grow here, hardy plants.
@jernst1779 Thank you so much, I was using an add on macro which came with my kit. I haven't used it much but may since it allows for auto focus.
@tstb13 This is an orchid which seems to like me. I have taken to spritzing it with water rather than pouring it. The morning sun was just so helpful too.
@domenicododaro Oh my, so far I've not had a camera freeze but the lens can get foggy. Process anyway, you might just be surprised at the results. Serendipity!
@golftragic My husband and I think 'Maui' a lot when it comes to this time of year. I am so done with Snow. After the boys graduate from college, warm, even hot might be the priority.

@henrir Thank you, i've not really used this lens much before, it is an add on type to my 16-55mm kit lens. I was actually fairly inpressed with it.
