Went to the store on the way home from taking more shots. Many shelves were bare, no bananas, onion, potatoes or pasta. I have to trust that the initial stock up buying will ease a bit. We are also on taps for up to 1.5 feet of snow on Wednesday- oh boy!
The good news just keeps on coming! The carrots look good though. My daughter made a run to the grocery store today and picked up carrots, and rutabagas as well as some broccoli without trouble but pasta and toilet paper were in short supply.
I was able to get bananas- but no toilet paper (or any paper products for that matter) or butter. It's absolutely crazy. Your carrots look tasty though!
Great light! I went to 2 Walmarts Saturday looking for toilet paper and noticed that people were not buying fresh fruits and veggies. By Sunday, the produce stand had some empty bins.
@gardencat We will hopefully learn from these times... and come out a bit smarter.
@olivetreeann I know that the crisis will ebb and flow but at present it is a rapid.... hopefully paper products will be re-stocked soon.
@amyk Thank you so kindly for the fav. Hopefully people will breathe soon and start to be a little less panicked.
@eudora Thank you so much. The snow coming on Wednesday just makes things ever so much more fun here. I am praying that they are over estimating the totals.....
I bought carrots too! Love how warm yet vibrant the shot is.
Regarding the empty shelves, today I was thinking, have these people never been poor? They can't imagine eating out of their cupboards or going without until the end of the month?

Our country has just started with the shopping spree. Living at the bottom of Africa, it only arrived now
