While at the farmer's market yesterday we noticed one of the vendors eating a pink apple. She told me that they were sold just a couple of tents down the way.
They are the Airlie Red Flesh variety. ( https://cidercraftmag.com/airlie-red-flesh-its-whats-inside-that-counts/ ) I never had heard about these and to think that they are local to this area. The Vendor who was selling them told me that they have dropped the "flesh" from the name as it isn't all that appealing and has seemed to turn some away from buying them. Not me as they are delicious and make great apple crisp. I am going to look into possibly getting a small tree at some point.
Nice capture. Maybe you should give it another try with a little more headroom for the flower. You may also try to lighten up a little of the reflections in the table.
