PMAE No 52

I've told myself that I want to Push My Artistic Envelope (PMAE) this year but today I feel stymied, stuck and just wondering what to do so here this is all I got today. Hopefully Monday will be better....
I like the processing - it adds atmosphere. And I like the juxtaposition of a witch and a sparkly-looking background.

@nickspicsnz You are so very kind, thank you! I felt that even a little old witch needs a bit of bling.

I like the bokeh effect you have behind the witch, and the way it looks like she is moving - with her hair flowing!!!

Apart from shooting all the Halloween paraphernalia on a bonfire, how do you find anything original to mark it? Thousands of shots on 365... can't say I understand why! 13 days? It's more drawn-out than Christmas! Bah! Humbug! :-)

Nice image. Not analyzing today. I just seemed like fun and made me smile.

@megpicatilly Thank you, this little witch has hair like mine, a mind of its own.

@yrhenwr The innocence of the holiday has been swallowed up by commercialization. I admit that I am caught up in it at times too.

@mbrutus Little bits of holiday impedimenta are fun and almost necessary some times. The 9 foot T-Rex they have for sale at Home Depot is not exactly my cup of candy.

Love the bling

Cool shot, it seems quite mysterious but fun at the same time.

I can only sympathise with the feeling stuck & I think we all end up hitting that point from time to time. Knowing it will pass is little consolation, but there it is, we have to keep on shooting!

Have you tried a brain storming session of all the wild and wacky ideas you've ever wanted to shoot and maybe some think you'd hate to do? See if something jumps out at you? Wishing you swift return of inspiration :-)

@deborah63 Bling is necessary.

@lizhammond I have a magic box of all my light toys, that is often a fall back position for me. I do like the list concept and will/have started it. I need to go trough my bookmarks to find what I've saved, that will be a good starting spot.

The beauty of this community is I never know where I will get inspiration, aid, and/or commiseration. I am grateful for all of the wonder work that I get to see here.
