a 2-Fer, The OWO-1 and Dogwood challenge. Both were concentrating on bokeh, shaped and multi. So in reality, I failed but learned things along the way. I watched YT videos on how to use and make your own bokeh filters. Thought that I had it down but not so much. I did get out very early this morning to catch some holiday lights, thinking that maybe I could catch what I wanted. The temps was about 29f (-1.6c)so, with frozen fingers and lack of coffee, I tried. If you look close enough at the trees you will see that the lights are in a particular pattern which is achieved with my double slash homemade bokeh filter. I know that I have a great deal more learning and experimentation to accomplish with this but what the hay, you have to start somewhere.
@sunshinepix Thank you a great deal, this hotel really does a very elaborate set-up so, I will probably be back to explore more.
@s4sayer Bokeh shapes are interesting. My son (who works in the 3D print lab at Northern Arizona University) and I are going to print a 3D version. Learning how to understand the design software is my 1st step If these work, I will let you know.
