B&W Street Shot Challenge by jyokota

B&W Street Shot Challenge

My get-pushed partner, Deborah Seibly @debseibly challenged me to get a b&w street shot. This is one taken in Mexico City of one of the many ubiquitous shoe shine businesses throughout the city. I chose to crop it into a square to cut out the tall trees, skyscrapers and sky and focus on "what's happening" here: the man reading, the shoe shiner, the police guard, the magazine kiosk in the background.
@debseibly -- thanks for the challenge, and apologies for the slowness of uploading! Your challenge helped me focus on what I should photograph on my last day in Mexico City.

I was trying to figure out 'which streets' and now it makes total sense. These are so good -- you have such a knack for people in context shots.
