@jgpittenger@fntngrma@seanna -- thanks for your comments! @joansmor -- doesn't look like breakfast in many parts of the world but I love trying local foods, and this particular sausage is only served traditionally in the morning because it's so delicate and light that it doesn't "keep" so must be consumed as soon as it is prepared. @julieco -- see that sweet mustard at the far end of the plate? Yum. @joemuli -- yes, the Bavarians wouldn't consider this breakfast complete without the bier. @dh -- it was actually served at noon, but this particular sausage is not heavy like most Bavarian pork dishes. It's a very light sausage, and the concept even defies typical notions of sausage.
