Outer Building at the Summer Palace

In China, buildings are not named for the people who fund them. Instead, they have poetic names like, "Garden of Virtue and Harmony," "Benevolence and Longevity Hall," "Fragrance-of-Lotus House," or "Pavilion to Enjoy Excellent View."
Great shot.

I would love to see the view from that charming little (or maybe not as little as it looks) building. Very nice shot.

The building looks so lonely up there, but I bet it's a great view! I love how the buildings are named...so much nicer than as an ad for someone's donation!

Very nice angle! I like the architecture of the building and the texture in the rocks.

I think I like those names better! The colors and textures of the rocks are amazing.

Must be a great view from up there! I like how they name their buildings.

So they honor the building and the place rather then people. How nice.
