Lunapic Sagrada Fisheye by jyokota

Lunapic Sagrada Fisheye

I think it's been a bit obvious that I have fisheye lens envy after seeing what Taffy has been creating with her fisheye, particularly at Familia Sagrada. Desperate, I went on line to look for free postproduction software and voila! Lunapic! I created this pseudo-fisheye and while it's not exactly the effect I would have created if I had a real fisheye lens, I think this free software is definitely fun and worth playing with to create images like this one and the kaleidoscope one I played with and posted. Definitely more to come!

I love this place. The towers are quite scary to climb!

It looks alive!

I understand because I had envy of her use of the Nik Collection so I am currently demoing it and spending way too much time on You Tube videos.

I really like the "straight" shots more - here, the whole structure loses it's movement upwards, which is such a great part of the whole undertaking.

Thank you all for your comments! @agedrunner @houser934 @pickerandagrinner @fntngrma @redy4et -- I had a lot of fun playing with the software and creating new images based on something I already had. I can see where selecting an effect based on the features of your image will be a fun pastime. But ultimately, I agree with @vera365 in that for the depiction of the place, the one with long, straight lines works best for communicating what the Sagrada Familia felt like to be in that space. @joansmor -- Yes, we all enjoy spending way too much time learning to play with more and more processing, right? @julieco -- we didn't climb the tower - we took the elevator.! We did go down, and that was scary enough.

I like this shot very much Junko, but not quite as much as the wide-angle one. Thanks for the heads-up re software, I'll investigate.
