We were walking to breakfast when all of a sudden we heard a beautiful voice singing out in the street so we turned around to see the source. I waffled between a tighter crop and this version but I kept this one because I like the "Road Closed" sign, the Nashville's "Broadway" street sign, and the general context. Is that light star distracting? Too much going on?
I find the film crew and singular person in the street far more interesting so I would opt to crop out the two signs even though I do like them. The light draws my eye away from the subject. Great catch!
I like the sun and road sign for context, but can see what Daryl means, as I know you'd already been thinking about this as an issue. I like the feeling in the image of how they stopped the action to film the singing. @darylo
This is a great shot, Junko. The light to the right does not take away from this photo. I was drawn right away just to the pretty colors of this building then off to the right to see the camera man. I bet it was fun to see.
I like this Junko as it shows all the action not just the singer. It puts it in context. Interesting to see they closed off the road to do the filming. Was the singer someone famous?
Boy, what a hard photo to know how to approach...so much going on and it takes some looking to figure out what is going on...I'm never sure if that is a benefit or not!
