Christmas Feast by kvphoto

Christmas Feast

"Gratitude can turn a meal into a feast."

--Melody Beattie--I enjoyed watching the birds enjoy their finch food feast at our feeder. The birds really love the white millet and have virtually ignored the black sunflower seed in the feeder hanging nearby. I hope you all are enjoying the day... I'm getting ready to begin our Christmas dinner and am so thankful for health & happiness, family & friends including my 365 community.
I had to refill the feeders this morning so the birds could continue their feasting on this cold Christmas Day. Love your capture.

Had about this many in my feeder this morning - it was Cold! But they just had the black sunflower seed - surprised to see no fussing. Counted at least 12

@k9photo thanks Kate... I love watching your birds visit.

@bkbinthecity thanks Brian.

@taffy thanks Taffy.

@koalagardens thank you Katrina.

@marlboromaam thanks Maggie... this was taken through the window and screen that looks over the backyard. I had to sit on my end table to get a good spot to shoot from. I think the screen caused the star effects off of the gold feeder.

@craftymeg thanks Meg.

@dutchothotmailcom thanks Esther... it was fun to watch them.

@haskar thanks so much.

@wakelys thanks Susan.

@mccarth1 thanks Kerry... it was and still is... hard to keep that feeder filled up.

@ricksnap thanks so much.

@mittens thanks Marilyn... hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

@lesip thanks Leslie... those birds kept after it for sure.

@cocobella thanks Corinne... I think the soft part of the dreamy look comes from shooting through the window and screen and then there is the radiance setting which I love to play with.
