The famous engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel built a railway line through the Goldern Valley in about 1840 and this is one of the bridges that crossed the Thames & Severn Canal at it's highest point in the Cotswold Hills.
As you can see volunteers have cleared the bushes and undergrowth from the canal, but it will be years before they get the water and boats here again.
This wonderful old diagonal built bridge still carries the main line to London from my area, but not many have ventured along the old toll path to see this view.

@claireuk Thanks Claire, I'm using a free programme called photoscape and it seems quite a useful programme, have a look at it. I usually do the following in order - crop, resize image, backlight, sharpness and lastly colour/brightness control.
