The Peacock Butterfly.

I have been trying to capture some butterfly photographs for weeks, only to find them to high in the buddleia or disappearing before I could sneak up on them.

Finally I managed to get a few shots although at a stretch. The Peacock Butterfly is one of the commonest butterflies in the UK, but still a wonderful dsplay. 97% come over from Europe as our Winters are to harsh for them to survive.

Wow, Heather...very impressive! A Fav for sure! Hey I think I got a picture today of some bunny ears and the back/sideways view of Mickey Mouse.
