Restoration Complete.

A small section of The Stroudwater Canal has been restored with particular major work to rebuild the Dudbridge Lock near the center of Stroud.

It was celebrated with royalty as Princess Anne, the Queens daughter, being brought through the lock on a barge and cutting a tape to declare the lock open.

There is now the Canal Society cafe beside this lock with tables outside to enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by.
