The Backend of a Church. by ladymagpie

The Backend of a Church.

When most people photograph churches it's usually the front view with the path and doorway. Well this is St. Pauls Church in the village of Whiteshill high above the Stroud Valleys where I live.

I thought the architecture at the back of the church was fantastic as you can see, so couldn't resist it. Now you may ask what I was doing round the back, actually I'm on a footpath in a field searching for one of the hardest geocaches I've had to find - a crafty person had push a plastic test tube into the ground and disguished the top with imitation long grass that blended into the land next to the church wall, the log book was inside. In the end I just had to stand and stare to spot something that didn't look quite right before I found it.
