Mist rolls over the River Severn

I left home in lovely sunshine yesterday to do a geocache and pop down to the River Severn to take some photographs. Being warm I put on a light over-shirt and left my coats at home.

The closer I got to the river area the temperature slowly dropped and the sun faded in the mist. I found a new place on the Severn to take this shot and was glad to get back into the car.

Surprisingly the reverse happened as I headed home and I was able to sit outside to have a cup of Earl Grey tea, it's a funny old world.

It does look very misty in the background. This weather is catching us out a lot; what to wear? I take a rucksack to pull things out of and put things into............................................mind the hot flushes don't help:0(

The mist adds to the atmosphere of the shot. Like the grasses in the foreground for colour.
