Whilst walking around the village I came to this sad looking horse. He came across to me and almost pointed to a clump of grass out of his reach.
I had the feeling he was old and although his field looked a bit bare I also felt he was being looked after with his coat well clipped and a large old barn with hay to go in.
Talking of being old, whilst I was out collecting photographs of the village for all you followers to look at, I had a tremendous fall in the middle of the main road thanks to a large pothole I hadn't didn't noticed. Another old lady came running across and started to shout HELP, we need HELP. Fortunately I only sustained cuts and bruises thanks to my excess padding caused by to much eating - Thank you to the supermarkets for giving me bounce-ability.

Oh my goodness, glad to read you are ok, you feel it tomorrow no doubt. These bloody pot holes are awful!
Your comment re the excess padding and supermarket made me smile.
He does look well cared for just trying his luck maybe. Nice shot
Take care
@lynnilou@claireuk@virtualbrownie Thank you all, I even took a photograph of the pothole and sent it to the authorities. I have found out that my Sister-in-Law fell at the same place a month ago and ended in hospital, she was in her 70's.
@featherstone@pittcj17@pittcj17@snowy@elisasaeter@carolmw Thank you all for your comments and concerns. I think my pride was more hurt, lying in the middle of the road waving my arms and legs around like a struggling fly, get the picture.
Heather, you made me laugh out loud with the visual you just gave me!!!!! Glad you weren't hurt badly and your photo is so nice! He does look older and that he wants you to hand him the grass clump:-)
Wow, Heather. I'm glad you're okay. But take care. I hope you don't wake up in the morning feeling too sore. Great photo. I'm glad you could accommodate the fellow by giving him a little fresh grass. :)
@linnypinny@khawbecker@ianrm Thank you all for view my picture and commenting including my dying swan fall, yes Lin I'm taking your your instructions and watching my steps.
Heather, I laughed out loud at your comment. I'm glad you are okay and can joke about it. Great shot of the horse and I like all of the green around him.
