"Has the post arrived", that's a phrase often heard in many home when ther're waiting for that special letter. So this is my interpretation of that phrase where I can say, yes the post has definitely arrived.
The weather is shocking at the moment with high winds and driving rain, but my cupboards were looking empty so I knew I had to get some shopping in. A supermarket sweep was completed and I loading up the car before grabbing my camera as I had wanted to take this picture for some time, but today it was just right with nobody on this walkway. Saying that, as I bent down by the ground a young chap ground to a halt beside me when he realised what I was doing.
I think he had a chuckle though, wondered what this mad old pensioner was doing almost lying in the puddles in a roadway. The things we do for art.
One of the first times I started to feel old was when I fell in the street and these young girls rushed to help me - they were being helpful but it made me feel slightly decrepit.
An excellent pov and I love the almost B&W.I have learned how to lower just the camera and not me to get this type of shot. Otherwise there is no getting back up! This is a fav for me.
hehe I've had that experience a few times myself ;) As long as we know why we do it, and you get the shot it is worth it ;) Love this! The leading lines of the path and poles are fabulous! and yes you can only achieve this on a rainy day ;)
Well captured and a fav. I recognized this immediately as a UK supermarket parking lot. In Canada there's no structure and it's each person for themselves...car vs man!
