Yesterday I had a wonder around the fields behind my home. I was actually looking for a place to set up a geocache, but of course I had my camera with me.
I did spot my first butterfly of the season but had to be quick as it didn't rest for long. It's quite a common one and is called a tortoiseshell and has lovely markings.
Now for the tail of woe, one of the fields I was walking in had been recently spread by the farmer with cow manure. Not only did it pong but I also found out, to my discomfort, another horrible problem.
A few hours later my legs felt itchy, on inspection my legs had been bitten in several places by insects, problem flies. I've now had to cover myself in cream to cool them down. The things we do for photography.
Thank you for stopping by and for you sweet comment on my photo.
