The flowers say it all. it's a wonderful Summer.

It's a different garden today and these flowers that I have found in my big Brothers garden are beautiful. In fact he had 6 or 7 pots with these in around his bungalow, but when I asked him their name he, nor his wife, could remember the name, old age for you.

A quick call to a friend and an email of the picture and they are confirmed as Salvia. I'm not sure where others in the UK have noticed, but this Summer the flowers seem to be more colourful and in abundance than ever..

The flowers say it all, it's a wonderful Summer in the gardens and hedgerows. You just have to view this flower with the black background, it's worth it.
Another gorgeous pix Heather... fav from me

It is lovely - unfortunately we have more beautiful flowers because it has been cooler than normal - and with a fair bit of rain. We take the rough with the smooth

Stunning colours Heather. I agree the flowers both wild and domesticated ( can you domesticate a flower?) are beautiful and abundant this year.
