It's sweltering here in SW England at the moment and just topped 30 C in the shade. For that reason all the doors and windows are wide open allowing all sorts of flying insects to come indoors.
I was just getting ready to go out when I spotted this moth on the bedroom wall, so naturally grabbed my camera for a quick picture. It wasn't until I zoomed in that I noticed the unusual shape, particularly at the head end, well I think it was the head end.
Thank you all for all your comments and Fav's yesterday on my cherries, that sounds rude, oh well I have noted all your requests for cherry tart.
Unusual it is, but you kept it nicely. Summer heat here too, but luckely we can find shadow under the trees in our garden.
