Can I be honest and say it may take time for me to get through all you pictures today, the heatwave is horrendous and currently in the shade it's 35 C (95 F) but in England it's the humidity that's the problem. I'm suffering with all this.
I took this a few days ago, and wouldn't I like to be there now, I would be dangling my feet in the water from the little bridge. I'm not surprised how healthy the two trees look with their roots permanently in the water.
Love the lush green grass. What a beautiful colour. We are getting a break from the terrible heat because storms are rolling in. Hope you can have some relief soon!
I've escaped to Newcastle to visit my niece and nephew. It's much cooler than home which is 33 even paddled in the sea. Thank goodness it should be cooler tomorrow heat doesn't agree with me!! Take care
Lovely meadow and stream. Stream actually looks like it might be cool. This heat wave is really something this year our southern states are really getting hit! Hope it doesn't come this far north.
I do sympathise Heather I really don't cope with this weather. I nearly passed out even watching Wimbledon! I think I shall turn your beautiful shot into a screen saver and just pretend I'm there! Oh and don't even think of roasting my lovely duck!
How very beautiful and peaceful, Heather. I love this!
Hope it cools off there. That's like the weather we have here in Sourh Carolina this time of year.
Hope you can stand the heat, Heather.
Hope it cools off there. That's like the weather we have here in Sourh Carolina this time of year.
