Walkies by ladymagpie

Walkies

My favourite Niece Gail (my only Niece of course), was up from Cornwall for a long weekend and dragged me out early this morning to go geocaching. We pick up a good friend first to visit a wonderful tea shop before venturing out on our walk.

There were several caches along this track, up on the high ground above the valleys. It was peaceful and quiet until the clip-clop of horses approached from behind. Now I know you take doggies for walkies but this lady was taking the white horse for walkies. As you can see by their girth, we had to dive into the bushes to give way for them. View with the dark surround.

Thank you all for you kind comments regarding my serious words yesterday along with my duck/swan picture.
Sounds like you had fun!

Very nice capture. I guess pedestrians don't have the right-of-way. Even horses need to be walked occasionally.
