It's a typical English Bank Holiday Monday with heavy rain and a really grotty day when most would prefer to be out enjoying the break. Fortunately I have a picture from my flowery friends garden and what a pretty picture this is.
All the flower borders are a splash of colour, pre-heavy rain of course, making it a delight to view and capture individual flowers. What am I going to do in during the Winter.
Thank you all so much for your comments and FAV's for my Water Boatman yesterday. I also like all your requests to be with me when I grow all the hair and test my theory. YOUR SO NICE. It really is worth viewing this with the dark surround if you have time.
Holiday football again so will get to your pictures later.
Beautiful flowers, Heather. They immediately remind me of that nice song:
How many kinds of sweet flowers grow
In an English country garden?
We'll tell you now of some that we know
Those we miss you'll surely pardon
Daffodils, heart's ease and flox
Meadowsweet and lady smocks
Gentian, lupine and tall hollihocks
Roses, foxgloves, snowdrops, blue forget-me-nots
In an English country garden
I just love your flowery friend's garden :) it is so beautiful ! And I love Bep @gijsje song - so fitting :) Now I'm singing it all day as it's the first day of spring over here in Australia - although you mightn't believe it when I get around to sorting my early morning photos out and posting one!
holiday even with the bad weather!

Can't get that song out of my mind...
