The Old Plough. by ladymagpie

The Old Plough.

Thank you all for your comments and FAV's on the Cloth Mill yesterday, I also put it on one of my local photographic Facebook page and it's had 2000 views, including many comments from some who have worked there in the past.

I went to an old water mill which is now a posh restaurant, I was hoping to find the waterwheel but didn't find it. In the grounds and around the car park they had placed several old farm implements and I was drawn to this plough that had once been pulled by a horse. (I have just discovered that you call it a PLOW in America and Canada)

It was on a slight rise and by getting near the ground the capture looked beautiful with the fields behind. View with the dark surround if you have time.
Lovely scene!

The colors in this capture are gorgeous. And I'm sure there is a similar one somewhere in my family history. Fav.

@thistle No Joyce, it's ground level but I bent over. If I laid down I wouldn't get up again.
