A Steeplejacks Heaven by ladymagpie

A Steeplejacks Heaven

Out on my tree hunt I got distracted by another one of our old mills, but this one has already been converted to offices for our local council. This is Ebley Mill with these buildings dating from 1818, although there has been a mill on this site since 1393.

I front of you passes the Stroudwater canal and the whole area this side of the canal has been redeveloped with several new homes and small shops. That is one impressive mill chimney and when it was repaired in the 1990 I'm sure the Steeplejacks had a wonderful time ley alone the view from the top

This is a wonderful photo of the mill. I love the fact that it was not torn down and redevelopment has taken place. It is now a very impressive building.

Wonderful building and photo of it, nice to preserve the mill for council offices - would I have liked to work there though? :) Fav.
