It's one of those days where you wish you could stop in bed, driving rain, freezing and miserable. So here is a contrasting picture from just 2 days ago.
You remember the "Tall and Proud" tree where I said it was such a bitter wind that I couldn't focus properly, well I looked up towards the blue sky across the valley and took this picture which has a story.
Just before the fields on the far right I had my first modern family home. I lived here with my 3 very young boys and a very active boarder collie. Those fields, lanes and woods on the top was were we walked, hoping to tire out both the boys and the dog as they could run freely. Back home it was more likely that it was me worn out and the dog flat out in front of the fire, boys still energetic.
