I hunted north, south east and west for the golden lion, but it was all in vane. Another old cottage in our beautiful countryside and we spotted this wonderful weather vane on top of the roof. I have never seen one in the shape of a lion and painted golden, quite unique.
Looking closely, it seems the lion has made a kill with the head of a deer in it's paw. the flipping thing kept moving in the wind, I suppose that's what it's meant to do really, so you had to catch it at the right moment to get it in view and also to stop the gold colour shinning into the lens.
Thank you all so much for your support with my VCPS illness, it seems many of you have suffered in the past and that there is only one way to get a cure, we will see. Oh I loved one lady on Facebook who was quite concerned with my health and offered support, she obviously doesn't realise my stupid sense of humour.
