A bit late today due to the European Cup football match between ENGLAND and Wales, we beat them 2-1. Also the weather is still terrible and other than a short trip to the local shop I'm stuck indoors. So here is a spare one I took earlier in the month, we all keep spares don't we.
I just love this area of the canal and the restoration that has been taking place. Both the old and new building blend in well together and I wouldn't mind buying one of the flats that look over the canal. I could moor a little boat alongside as well.
OK I'm dreaming again and I do live in a lovely village with the countryside just outside the door. Why would I move away from here. Thank you for all your comments and FAV's on all my flowers.
@snowy I used to visit them as the Press Officer for my club Forest Green Rovers but have not been there since they dropped down the leagues due to financial reasons.
A beautiful canal-side scene, Heather, a delight to behold. I can still remember the quite different atmosphere of such areas when they were busy workplaces . . . hard and dirty work, too.
Husband watched the football match this afternoon (I had to work in the library); he told me that he enjoyed the songs of the Welshmen!
@snaggy
Yes, spares are a must for 365. I have a whole folder full
