The weather outside today is absolutely horrendous, with hail storms, thunder and lightening, and who would believe it's Spring and we are planning our Summer holidays, well you might all be.
So I've dug our this picture from a couple of days ago, and yes it's just the village bus stop. I prefer the stone one that I took a picture through a slot of the telephone box the other day.
The reason I like the old one is because it has a bench, whilst this modern old has a parallel bar. Hence my title, "You have to be Cheeky" to balance your backside on this. What is the world coming to when an old age lady has to be cheeky to have a slight rest before climbing on a bus.
It also looks filthy with plastic roof and glass sides, bring back bricks and mortar. Also if you're a shorty like me, then it's difficult to get one's cheek up to balance on it.
So there you go, who would have thought that someone would be cheeky about cheeks in a bus stop on a Project365 page.
Ooh ! quite a challenge for a lot of us mature ladies ,I am sure ! and not even very aesthetically pleasing to the eye - I agree - bricks and mortar are better all round !!!!
I always learn something new with each of your narratives . For instance, Google maps tells me that it cannot determine how to get to The Nippy Chippy from here on the coast of Washington state. They shouldn't have a Directions button on the screen.
What a crazy design.
