I was walking back along to my bungalow when I spotted this lovely pussie cat on the other side of the road. It didn't take it's eye's off me and I was starting to have a panic that it might come across the busy road towards me.
I knew it was one of my neighbours cats (from across the road from me) and often seen them walking along a narrow kerb next to the wall but never seen them in the road.
Well again it brought a saying coming into me head, you know the one, "Well that's the cat's Whiskers". Meaning that's the best thing or person you've seen, or that's the best of the best.
An example could be, "That singer I saw last night was the cat's whiskers, mean the best. The expression came from America in the 1920's and soon caught on in this country.
Personnaly I thought this cat looked the cat's whiskers, but must also have a brain that says, don't go into the road.
Keep smiling and COME ON ENGLAND tonight against Italy in the Euro Final.
Fingers crossed for England!
I hope England won :)
