I honestly think that your whole life can't be a complete Piece of Cake, for the majority it will flow reasonable well with just a few hiccup’s, whilst other have to battle through many problems, not their own fault or caused by others.
At birth life can depend on your family, and how you’re brought up. For me it was wonderful childhood except we often moved due to my Fathers work with the Air Ministry and he was stationed at different airfields.
I had a big dip in life in my early 40's. when I was forced out of my job which I loved; a court case followed which didn't go my way but behind every cloud in a silver lining. I was offered a similar position with another company and within 5 years I rose to a Senior Manager's position which including a company car.
It was a very stressful position as I didn't know each day where I was going to be. One day I might be sent to somewhere in Europe and another day a long journey to visit companies in USA or Canada. Sounds great but I ended up with a breakdown, incredibly on the same day as the twin towers in New York were brought down. I decided my health comes first so left and enjoyed working for my football club fulltime and then as an Office Manager for an Electric Company until I retired.
As you can see life can have its ups and downs, but where does “A piece of Cake” saying come from? It's thought to be from the RAF pilots in the 1930's when they were talking about an easy mission as a piece of cake.
As for this piece of cake in my capture, I have a good excuse for having it. I was do a little shop in our local Aldi store and as I walked up one isle this cake leapt off the shelf and into my trolley. I didn't notice it until I checked out and saw Whisky Fruit Cake on my receipt. You do believe me don't you (Wink)
What a cheeky piece of cake! Now, since it jumped in your trolley and you unknowingly paid for it, the only sensible thing left to do is to eat it.

Don't you hate it when cake does that to you. I have the same problem when David comes shopping with me. Things I don't normally buy just appear in my shopping trolley.
