When Nature takes over a Railway Bridge by ladymagpie

When Nature takes over a Railway Bridge

A very quick one today as I'm on my Forest Green Rovers live match away at Oldham Athletic. Who remembers the advert that went "I told em Oldham".

I was out geocaching when I came across an old railway footbridge; the cache was on the other side of the disused rail track. Needless to say I didn't cross over using this bridge.

After finding the hidden box I did climb up the other side to take some pictures. It just goes to show that if left long enough that nature will take over,

For any of my locals seeing this picture, it is towards Cam and Dursley.

Keep smiling.

Great find. I wonder how long it had been left unattended?

Wow! The first thing that crossed my mind when i saw this was if you climbed it (it might have been disused). Great find!
As for nature, only we are as arrogand or ignorant as to think that nature needs our help. Nature would be quite fine without us.
