Took a trip to Lily Ponds this afternoon . Acres of lily ponds and gardens. It was sprinkling on and off so I was walking around with my umbrella. Lots of blooming going on. This birdie had a mate and they both played all around me. I got lots of lovely pictures of them. I left with 3 comet fish and 4 snails for my little pond. Lets hope they like their new home.
Love this shot, Leslie. What a beautiful place. Mockingbirds (pretty sure this is a mockingbird as they are very common to where we live) are usually in pairs chatter a lot and are fun to watch and very playful until they have a nest, then they are in a protection mode and scream at people and cats.
