This is our go to gift for High School graduates heading to college. Trunks like this have been around forever but this one has wheels on one end and a handle on the other so you can roll it. It was kismet when I saw this before christmas since Andrea's favorite color is purple ( at least I hope it's still purple). All the other trunks I bought were black. Found some graduation ribbon at Michaels and when I noticed the card I picked had purple trim I decided not to use the envelope. We're all set for her graduation party on Saturday. Love that it happens to be made in the USA .
Having a black rug and curtains in the spare room was a bonus photographing this trunk.
I wondered how you got the fabulous background to highlight this wonderful gift so well. Beautiful presentation for a great image. I could have used this oh so many years ago! I do still have one( maybe two) pieces of the luggage I received as a high school graduation gift.
What a wonderful graduation gift! I had one for college a few...okay maybe more then a few, years ago and loved it. Very well presented here, I'm sure Andrea will love it.
What a lucky girl to be getting such a wonderful gift. Love your photo and the sentiment of this gift. How nice to also have black carpet and drapes in your spare room to use as your background. I would have never guessed.
What a flood of memories come back, just seeing your amazingly thoughtful and cheery graduation gift! I had a black one that traveled with me from Tucson to St Louis for college and years later, my daughters had red ones! A need for that trunk seems to have never changed! And yes, more and more I, too, have been noticing the "Made in USA" tags on items, and "that's a good thing"!
