The Woolen Mill by ljmanning

The Woolen Mill

Built in 1882 to house a cotton mill for the Kingston Cotton Manufacturing Company. About 50 years later the City of Kingston purchased the property, running it as a woolen mill instead. That mill operated until 1966. The building has over 200 windows, as bountiful natural light was essential to properly examine the fibres for quality.
