Tile mastic for the remodel

Back to the stair remodel at the medical center, the stair fronts had old mastic that was going to have to be taken off so the new tiles could be mounted. This for texture in a composition for Flash of Red 2018!

Works well for texture. If you'd brought out the detail in the mastic even more the texture would be even stronger.

Aren't abstracts amazing?! I was seeing all sorts of figures in this! It has a very ancient look to it! I have to wonder why more people don't forge ahead and make art when it truly IS in the eye of the beholder and there are those who adore modern abstracts! Who's to say what is and what isn't?!
